Rockford High School is authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We offer courses in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for all 9th and 10th grade students. Additionally, students can select courses in the Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-Related Programme (CP). DP courses help prepare students for college, offer competitive advantages when applying for admission to universities, and give students access to earn college credit at over 3,000 institutions of higher education.  The CP pathways include Business, Certified Nursing Assistant Program, Landscape Management, and Veterinarian Technician.  All of the pathways include either the potential to earn college credit or certification in their area. The implementation of IB at Rockford High School has allowed us to give our students a world-class educational experience, inquiry-based and relevant curriculum, and a 1:1 technology program.   

The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.
